That apparently the 1980s are back in fad on campus.

Lots of students with feathered hair and mustaches

Girls dressed in 80s style jeans and hair

On the field we learned we have dudes on the sidelines that can make adjustments

Also

A theory of mine. The better your football team, the higher the quality of cheerleader / dance team members.

We are not quite Bama, USC, Oregon level cheer team quality yet, but we are looking better than we were ten years ago (no offense intended)

and i just met this foxy lady who's bringing up 3 very lovely girls.

My lady just came downstairs on her way to a girls night out wearing these ridiculous baggy bell bottom jeans.

She has nice get-away-stix, so I suggested a more traditional tight pantaloon.

It worked. She changed.

70s clothing no bueno

A fashion thread on a football forum. Who would ever have thought. ;)

Yup. It's not that we are trend setters... it's more like, if you never stop dressing like it's 1987, eventually, you'll be in style again.
Central NY, and New Jersey never gave up.

Ditto with the music.

Cuse radio stations got to about 1989 and said -
Nope! That’s it.
We don’t need any new music after this time.

You move far enough upstate and that’s just the style. It never goes away. There were mullets and mustaches in my high school in lowville in the mid 90s. It was awesome.
Dude... Adirondack grad here. Mid 90s. Although mullets and mustaches at my school were at least accompanied by the grunge aesthetic with lots of flannel, and dickies, and chuck Taylor's, or doc martens

I'm breaking out "get away stick" to my buddies this weekend thank you for that

I just want the skinny jean fad to be gone forever.
Well, you do have to be able to see your toes to wear them…

And having leg day as part of your workout is a non-starter…

Which one are you?
