What if someone sued the ACC officiating team

Laugh all you want. He's a grad of Georgia and Duke Law tops in his class
I'm actually contacting a cousin of mine who graduated duke law about this, tonight.

It's ridiculous and if no one does anything it will continue

Assuming he is putting in the kind of hours that someone who graduates at the top of his class from a T14 law school works, I'd suggest you not call him and waste his time with this piddly crap, then take that time to evaluate your own priorities and whether it is worth getting so worked up about a game in which you were not even participating? Or, just have a couple drinks, take some drugs, or do whatever else one would do to relax on a Saturday evening. ;)

Bias is a real thing.
I think the bias of fans of teams thinking their team is unfairly officiated against is a thousand times more intense than bias of the officials calling the game.

If there's data to support the idea that we receive a disproportionate number of penalties over our 8-9 years in the ACC, I'm all ears. But fans of teams a couple hours after a devastating loss are the least objective people on Planet Earth.

All the more reason to leave him alone! What happened, did they take a wrong turn on the way to Vegas? ;)

I’d like to focus on some SU games where we’re winning 37-0.

I wonder how Darius Washington slept last night? Pretty well I’ll bet, even though he was the offensive left tackle who held and allowed Travis Jordan to get outside for yards he would not have gotten if he was either tacked for loss or the referee called the obvious hold and Fla St was penalized.

This would never have happened because it is not human nature but I wish when he held his hands up he went over to the official told him he held and that the team should be penalized for what he did. The official probably would have ignored him in which case Washington should have sat down and sulked until they called a penalty. Instead he got away with a blatant hold they called in the TV booth.

I waited all night to see how everyone reacted. Thanks BVille 44 for the pic of the infraction. How an official did not see the hold is tragic they must be fu***** blind! And Washington should feel really bad for what he did but he’s probably celebrating. I know – it happens, officials miss stuff, but I just couldn’t let this one go.

Please tell the refs we identify as a southern school, hell we even have an Orange as a mascot. We are Transgeographic.

The craziest missed call of the day still goes to the Clemson - BC refs who allowed the Clemson DB to run down the line of scrimmage, in front of his lineman and still didn't get called for offsides. That was a mind blowing no call.

Do the Pitt panthers and B.C. have a problem with the refs? Or is it just this northern team. There are missed calls in every game.

I don’t see any civil courts taking on a tort case such as this. If there were credible suspicions of collusion it could trigger a congressional hearing, but a tort case on pure negligence citing betting damages? I don’t see that happening.

Agree. I couldn’t believe my eyes when I saw that. And then…no call! Just insane
