Some of the names/ideas that have been thrown out there are legit pipe dreams and actually make ZERO sense. It has made for some entertaining follow-up posts. Bravo to the comedians on here.

To clarify, Les Miles, Chip Kelly, Greg Schiano, Matt Patricia and Charlie Strong, just to name a few, are not coming to Syracuse. At least not now, and some of them, ever. A+ for effort, creativity and originality, though. Oh yeah, add Joe Moglia to that list, too.

I will say that the number of posts on this board since yesterday morning has to be at around 3000. Well done people, well done. The football board is alive and well and we have made up some serious ground on the basketball board numbers...

Ok, now back to hallucinating.

Parcells coached the Giants and Jets, and we are New York's college team. Parcells had current Giants coach and SU alum Tom Coughlin on his Giants staff.

And Parcells is known to love going to the Saratoga track, which is right down the Thruway.

So obviously, we need to bring in the Tuna.
