What is that annoying buzz?

Noticed it in more and more football broadcasts this season, college and NFL. Like some kind of microphone interference. Heard it on multiple networks, channels, etc., but not always on all games on a particular channel. Kind of like a cow giving birth to a vuvu zeyla (sp?).
