I wouldn’t be concerned about his speed. He would be a big upgrade over either of the departed seniors in this area. Lakeim runs a 4.5 40. He can fly. Freak athlete. The question with him is can he handle the mental part of the game.I just remember Williams filling in a bit last year and wasn’t impressed with his speed or downhill attack. Now as we know he could been thinking too much which slows u down considerably. I am less excited for him. Hope he proves me wrong.

Sorry, was that not the question?
Yeah if he is that fast great.I wouldn’t be concerned about his speed. He would be a big upgrade over either of the departed seniors in this area. Lakeim runs a 4.5 40. He can fly. Freak athlete. The question with him is can he handle the mental part of the game.
I heard he was the fastest LB when he came in last spring.Yeah if he is that fast great.
As I told tomcat he seamed to play slow but he was probably overthinking and it was the switch between stepping back and then next game they were coming forward so I can see that.I heard he was the fastest LB when he came in last spring.
I feel like athletes play slower when the game itself hasn’t slowed down to them yet. Perhaps the above posts are correct and Williams is only held back by the demanding mental aspects of the LB position within Ward’s defense. That being said, he could be ready to surprise us all this fall.As I told tomcat he seamed to play slow but he was probably overthinking and it was the switch between stepping back and then next game they were coming forward so I can see that.
