What other games are you looking forward to this weekend?

Honestly: absolutely none. I’m bitter that summer is getting close to ending, and I’m going outside as much as possible while I still can. I’ve got no time for these other games, and I think the whole season starts too early.

All these games should be pushed back a week. Miami-Florida was horrific and neither team was anywhere close to ready for a real game.
 
I think UCLA @ Cincinnati looks fun; Thursday 7 pm, ESPN.

Mississippi plays at Memphis. That should be close and a good game.

VT plays at BC in a game featuring two struggling programs

Virginia plays at Pitt. Early elimination game for the Coastal Division.

Duke plays Alabama in Atlanta. We will find out early if Duke is good or not.

Stanford at Northwestern should be worth checking out.

Holy Cross plays at Navy. That might actually be an interesting game to watch.

Maryland executes Howard and Western Michigan executes Monmouth on Saturday as well.

Agree. Would be shocked if UCLA can pull the upset here. Cincinnati is legitimately good and UCLA is legitimately bad.

Thats gonna change nothing, that means camp is gonna start a week later for the players. Some of these teams have been off for 9 months, longest offseason in all of sports. Also Florida and Miami started camp a week earlier than everyone also.

Well Clawson has been telling the media that this is his best Wake Forest team ever. ;)
 
BTW, anyone interested in High School football should check out ESPNU tomorrow (Thursday). Katy HS (TX and my kids HS) vs. North Shore (TX). Both teams have several D1 players. North Shore won 6A title last year and is expected to repeat.

Edit: Game is actually on ESPN2.

Probably the Pickles vs. Tie Dye. Maybe there is a way both can lose. ;)

I don't know if anyone mentioned this above, but Houston @ Oklahoma is a great first week matchup. And being on a Sunday night let's it stand out too.

definitely will be high scoring, even with a more questionable QB in their system, OU may put up 63-70 points. and they may give up 50.

I think UCLA is going to be a lot better, they were really young last year, freshmen all over the two deep young. with that being said, I think Cincy wins, and I think Chip Kelly is a douchewad
