No spring practice.
Little conditioning.
Players being away.
Summer Practice being delayed.

What sucks is the HC has just performed so poorly and his comments publicly are just garbage it loses credibility.

If we were losing and getting beat because of talent it’s not an issue.
This team isn’t losing as badly because of talent. It’s awful in-game
Coaching, it’s game plan, it’s adjustments.

We are just irrelevant. That is on the HC.

I just think Dino has done a terrible job this year all around and I am 100% pro-Dino and don’t want him fired. He just deserves the criticism I dished out IMO.

Nor the Longhorn or Cowboy fans. That game was exciting as all get out on Saturday, and you would never convince anyone of their fans based on the reactions of the coaches and players afterwards that this season is stupid and pointless. To each their own I guess.

Again, what you said, that Syracuse tried no adjustments, is categorically wrong. I implore you to read or watch games closely and educate yourself.

HOW WAS THE TEAM ABLE TO ABSORB THE LATE PUSH FROM SYRACUSE AND STILL CONTROL THE GAME?

To be honest with you, I think they were confident by their preparation. And I'm going to tell you. They, defensively, because they had an open date, they did more things that they had not shown. Our guys handled it because our coaches did a great job of preparing them for it in the run game. They came with safety pressure weak, safety pressure strong, backer pressure off edge. They went basically to their goal line defense to stop the run. But in every case, I thought our front was ready and they responded, and there was a toughness to our team today that just didn't really exist before. It was good to see. That mentality is one of the things you have to grow. It's just been a different year, and hopefully we can hang on to this.

Of course they aren't and thats because the coach has done a bad job of recruiting, our schedule isn't all that difficult, at the end of the season we will probably have played two ranked teams Clemson and Nd, Unc has been a disappointment. Our home schedule this year was Gt, Duke,Liberty, Bc, Nc state and Wake, a very manageable schedule.

When was the last time we had a talented enough 2nd string that could play winning football in the ACC? How many 1st stringers were out this year, again? I can't remember ANY SU team that could have suffered these kinds of losses and won. Please refresh my memory.

Wake and Duke aren't getting elite recruits they are getting the kids that the sec schools and the Clemsons uncs vtechs don't want. Duke and Wake are both tiny private schools that are very hard to get into and have very little interest in their programs. Cutcliffe has done a great job as has Clawson. Duke is an awful football team this year at best they are going 3 and 8. Wake is better than us and I really like their QB but there is no way they should be coming to the dome and putting the beat down that they did on us.

So what you're saying is that even when we were very good, the staffs still weren't doing a good job of recruiting depth, right? That means you think DB should be doing better than any previous coach has done. You're a crazy guy. Two years from now you're going to be eating a nice crow dinner.

What coach are you referring to Mac p Marrone? I certainly expect better than Schafer and Grob. What's going to happen in two years. And by two years I assume your talking about 2022

It’s actually pretty sad when these kind of excuses have to be made for Wake and Duke recruiting better than Syracuse. Pennsylvania, Ohio and NJ all border NY and produce large numbers of prospects.
