Ha, revisionist history. It was a significant upset as SU was playing at the Dome in that 2nd round game and were about 10 point favorites as a #2 seed, Navy a #7. Just a few months earlier in December, SU bounced Navy by 22, granted without Robinson playing in that one. SU took them lightly, and Robinson (a Jr.) ended up going for 35 and destroyed Seikaly, whom was a Soph. Navy's next game was against #14 seed Cleveland St., whom they eeked out the W by 1 point, 71-70. Duke destroyed them in the next round.
Robinson's following senior season is what truly elevated his status, ultimately becoming the top pick in the draft that summer and continued his elevation into the NBA where he became a Top 50 player of all time.
