I say it again and again that u can’t play defense without being aggressive. I beat the same drum but we need ward to become aggressive and attack and then disguise our d better. Good defenses are aggressive and mean downhill type teams. Aggressive o without aggressive d isn’t smart coaching. Look no further than this weeks game. Venerable is the most aggressive d coach I see in college today. We need that. We need that bad.
Has everything to do with aggression. Most of his calls were soft not trying to get beat. Tackling was atrocious. They were stopping their ft on contact and tackling to high. Why can’t we play a heavy dose of man to man and seal slants off. U do that by being aggressive on inside shoulder not allowing slant to happen. I could go on and on.Had nothing to do with aggression. They were out of position often. That's how you get the 15-20 yard gains time after time again.
