What will the teams identity be this year?

I don't know--I see this team has having loads of offensive potential, too. Perhaps even more so than the 2012 team.

I think the identity is going to be depth and relentless defensive pressure, and pick your poison offense [in terms of opposing D's trying to slow us down].

This team really feels top 5 to me, once they get acclimated to playing together--which admittedly might not fall into place right away.

Flawless Merciless execution in every aspect of the game including nose picking

Can we chip in and get JB a pair of those foam #1 fan hands that the your-worst-nightmare guy in the Allstate ad wears while wrecking those cars. That might solve the problem.

Or that solution could lead to premature death of our beloved coach via foam-impacted-nostril-asphyxiation.

Safer solution is to provide JB with a big-head-selfie that allows him to duck (and pluck) for cover when needed.

The only difference between JB and the rest of us - he gets caught on TV when he picks his nose.

I think they actually stalk him by training a camera on him for the full game.

When his baser instincts kick in, then game feed is cut over to his camera.

Offense? Defense? Both? I could see it going either way but based on JB lately, ie the Final Four runs in '13 and '16 , i am going to say this team mostly hangs its hat on Defense...

I could see this by the end of the season once all the new guys are worked into the 2-3. Especially if we are using a press 8+ minutes a game as part of that.

I think offensively with the shooters, if Coleman and Lydon can score regularly inside our offense may look a bit like 09. When its going good whoever is left open can hurt you and the ball regularly finds its way to the open guy.
