It’s always the school’s choice, turn yourself in a get a lesser sentence or have someone else turn you in and have a ton of bricks dropped on you. As bad as any self-reporter thinks their punishment is, it would be worse if someone else turned them in. It’s just like a plea bargain you see on Law & Order.

I wasn't seriously asking that question.

One would think self reporting would get you a lesser sentence or penalty. In hind sight I think that self reporting was a major mistake. We got hammered by the NCAA. If we kept quiet either nothing would have happened or they would have taken away a few more victories and quite possibly an NC or Final 4.

There would need to be a photograph of K personally handing a sack of cash to a named recruit. But that photo would need to be autographed by K himself and notorized by Mark Emmett in order for it to be admissable.
