It feels pretty weird
Pretty sure they've generally been moved to Monday when January 1st was on a Sunday, starting with the Rose Bowl in 1922. So it feels typical for a year when the 1st is on a Sunday to me...

Not having the Belk Bowl nor the BBVA Compass Bowl and of course, the GoDaddy.com Bowl not on the first just ain't tradition in my opinion.
