I was thinking the same thing. Hunt would fit pretty well in that system as he's a big mobile qb. He would probably be similar to cardale jones. It's amazing what a good coach can do to a qb. Not to mention Ohio state's oline is world class and jones had all day to throw it. And those holes they opened for their rb were ridiculous

Without better coaching - and I am not sure even that would do it - I doubt Hunt is anywhere near as successful. Too many unforced passing errors in our system, with our talent level, in situations where the pass could very well have been completed. Unless Meyer has a magical way to instill accuracy in QB's, there is only so much he could do.

the point is that hunt would be getting much better coaching.

He'd be the third string QB at best and hope that the first two got hurt! He only plays because he's at SU. Which is bewildering that good qbs want to go to all these national powerhouses to sit the bench for 4 years or hope the ones in front of them get hurt. Go to SU and play and at least you have a chance to audition for the nfl.

Hunt will thrive in that system. Perfect fit. he would struggle early with deep balls but mid season Urban would have him all corrected. Big fan of Urban's spread power offense. I am hoping Lester will mimic this style.

No Kidding Did you see their tackles picking up The Ducks Linebackers single handedly on the edge. Great pass blockers with quick feet and even better run blockers. That was the big differnece last night.
