I just hope we don't lose Dungey, Fredericks, Clark etc. I don't know what the right move is and I know you can't really factor this into a decision but if any of these guys transfers due to the results/coaching change, it will be devastating. We haven't had a class like this in...20 years?

I'm not worried about that.

No kid will leave over a head coach being replaced. I honestly don't feel that. And the school and AD can't be held hostage by some kids who aren't old enough to drink.

As good as some of these guys could be, there's no ones departure that can't be overcome.
Losing Dungey would be an absolute disaster. For us, these guys come around once every 2 decades or so. I would hate to be 50, the next time we have a game changer on offense.

You wouldn't have to. We've had garbage coaches and the corpse of the Big East Conference affiliation until now. Bring in a good coach, in the ACC and we'll be ok.

We also need to worry about getting more Steve Ishmaels and less Phillips/Estimes.

So no Mo Neal I assume?

Can he catch and run routes? Do the things necessary to implement his speed? If so, yes, I'd love him in this offense. Erv and Brisly don't do that.

That's cool, so do I, but we need more Ishmaels and less little gadget players. Just my opinion. FSU had about 4 Steve Ishmaels out there. Easy to look good if you're McGuire
Our secondary sure did help him out as well. I would love to find more Ishmaels, I really hope they do.

Are these kids really going to leave and sit out a year because a coach with a better dynamic is coming to Syracuse? I think not.

Your nuts. Erv is fine. Estime has had some great catches. Don't be a prisoner of the moment.

And yeah, Neal is the real deal.

And they always will. I don't think we'll ever have FSU depth.

We had 3 great QBs almost in a row with 1 or 2 year gaps between them, in the late 80's through the 90's. It's only been this difficult because we've been incredibly inept at it for too long. There's zero reason we have to keep being that inept.

Estime is only the second leading punt returner in the country. Don't talk nonsense.

Then why doesn't FSU have an entire receiving core of Kermit Williams? It's fine to have a Brisly Estime or Erv Phillips or Moe Neal when you have ACTUAL wide receivers.

Whatever, but Estime is a terrific asset for this team and you shouldn't be demeaning him.

You're being too sensitive about this. Estime is a tremendous asset. We don't need 5 of him when we have one wide receiver.

See, I think you are being too callous. After every loss guys start criticing everything and everybody and hyperbole abounds. Parents, recruits and families read this board. Why not just say we need better receivers and forget the hyperbole for their sake.
