What's got into Rutgers?

Moonlighting as an English prof, eh?
I have my fair share of typos, but if you’re going to
come in hot on a topic when you have 4 posts over the course of your board posting history I expect better.

Don't set your expectations too high. I've seen a lot worse than that on this board.

I remember reading an article a little while back quoting Phil Sellers (RU's best player on that team) about his experience at the F4 in 1976, which was held in Philly at the Spectrum. Sellers said the night before the semi they had an open practice and it suddenly hit him wrt the magnitude of what was to come in terms of pressure. RU was undefeated going into the semi against Michigan. At the start of the practice they were doing layups and Sellers said he was scared of missing a layup as there was a raucous environment with 20,000 fans in attendance. RU had been used to playing in much smaller arenas and the focus was regional and not national like the F4.

I don't understand how that resume can put them on the outside of the bubble when teams like UNC and Wake are considered safe.
coaching--pikiell should be our next coach!!!!

Rutgers has one of the most bizarre resumes I've ever seen. They have all those recent wins but they lost to Lafayette umass DePaul northwestern and penn st.
Similar to us, but at least they are making an argument with their recent play. If we can win the rest of our games, at least we can make an argument too.

They have much better wins.
