What's in a name?

"Hoophall Miami Invitational". This is not an elimation tournament like most others. Three of the games are in our arena. One major matchup at the end on a neutral court. I just don't get the name associated with the first three games. I can only assume it has something to do with sponsorship and money. Seems Mickey Mouse to me. Am I missing something??????

Wow, not great branding. I had no idea "HoopHall" meant the Naismith Basketball Hall of Fame and it also seems like a nickname that is fairly belittling to what should be an august institution. Oh well.

Thanks for the link which provides some clarification. I know we have been in similar scenarios in the past under possibly different names, but it is just puzzling to have the early "home" games under the same umbrella.
