Although it would be nice to play as little as possible in ACC tournament (earning a double bye) wouldn't it almost be better to beat up a wake or BC type team and get an easy ACC tourney win as opposed to having to play somebody harder after the bye?

I just don't see any way a win over BC improves the profile at all. it can hurt much more than it can help

Yeah I can see all of this. That first game of the ACC Tourney is BIG though. If we lose the last two reg season games we don't want to go one and done there at all, imo. Besides, it has been well documented that conference record is not valued/weighed that heavily because of the unbalanced schedules and such. They are putting Syracuse up against other teams with another sheet of paper full of numbers.

In the last 10 yrs Dixon is 9-5 over us. He has won the last 2 times. Still think we can get a 9 seed. Lunardi still agrees
