What's the best dunk ever completed against Syracuse in a game?

That Donovan Mitchell one. He caught it with one hand, jacked it back, and threw down a tomahawk. He's like 6-3 too. Pretty sick.

That was a hard one to top.

I remember Keon Clark of UNLV having some ridiculous dunks against us back in like 97 or 98(?). Also, Chris Bosh dunked on Forth hard, though that was easily forgotten because we blew them out.

Rudy Gay in the 06 BET. Might be the best in game dunk I have ever seen. He took off from the FT line for reverse dunk.

Good one! He had a crazy one in the Dome too I believe.

Keon Clark, good call! I'd forgotten about that.

Nice. Ray Allen had a good one in traffic in the '94 Dome game, too.

I remember exactly what you're talking about. It was the early part of the 96-97 season. The dunks he was throwing down were just violent.

This thread can be like a therapeutic session where we share the horrible memories of great dunks against us that we emotionally suppressed for all these years.

I was a little bummed Lydon didn't make any kind of play to disrupt that. You could see it coming as soon as they hit halfcourt. A hard foul (not necessarily a dangerous one) would have been nice.

There was a dude from Detroit that caught a few ridiculous lobs against us. Can't remember his name but it was during the Ray McCallum Jr. years.

I wasn't sure if it was Detroit, but I was thinking of some mid-major at the Dome with a kid who pulled off all sorts of athletic dunks two or three years ago. That must be it.

blake griffin probably had a real good one

We were trying to get anything going (even though it was too late) in the tourney against Oklahoma and Flynn went for a thunderous dunk and missed it. Transition the other way and Blake threw down a flipping monster dunk that basically ripped our hearts out.

That was a dunk with emotion.

That same game he also had a baseline dunk where he hit his head he was so high: https://youtu.be/5NMlt3uG3Fs

I was thinking of the Bosh one as well. It was late in the game and we were up by 30 though, so it didn't matter.

Good call on him and James White (The Nuclear Weapon, lol). It definitely was some SG/SF on Detroit on the McCallum team.
