I keep hearing that 80% of the funding for all non revenue sports is generated by the NCAA hoops tourney. Does anyone have any real world perspective on just how this could affect sports on the ground over the next year or so? Will some sports be shuttered for a year (and I mean AFTER we are cleared to resume from a medical perspective)

I doubt they'll be shut down. Being put on a more austere budget would be more likely. Given how non-profits work, I don't think this year's tournament money pays for next year's sports. They'll probably dip into reserves.
