What's with the overalls?

I gotta ask. When did this start? Nearly every college football game is peppered worth dozens lf, typically young college aged males, wearing bold bring striped overalls in the team colors...and usually nothing underneath.

When did this start? Did one school start the trend and others follow? Did it start as a social media thing? Just weird because from a pure fashion standpoint it looks terrible lol.

Not 100% sure, but think it was an Indiana thing for a long time, that spread to all the other B1G ten schools over time because they like farming...and maybe other schools are now doing it up too? Whether they like to farm or not...

Like UVA seems to be covered in them - but the denim ones.

Wisconsin started it in the 70s and 80.
