Sure...I guess. At this point, why not?

Hell...I vote SU for the Pac 12

TCU looks a bit out of place...but then again they look out of place in the BE.

no acc team will leave the acc for the b10.

acc teams may leave for the SEC.

the current big east and big12 are done.

despite the fact that in the b10, football attendence will be higher, we as Syracuse fans need the SEC to steal a few acc teams so the Orange can go there.

once there is a PACIFIC COAST CONFERENCE and an ATLANTIC COAST CONFERENCE, with the SEC and the Big10 holding down the middle...and yes a conf of leftovers, realignment will be done.

once you accept that, then give us your picks.

As long as we're fantasizing, my plan would be to dissolve all of the existing conferences, form four new ones hq'd in the four corner quadrants of the US, and let them "draft" up to 20 schools each, kinda like fantasy football. The champions of each of the four conferences would compete in a 4 team playoff for the national fb championship. If you're not in a conference, you'd have no access to the playoff. Bball would be managed the same way as it is now. It makes as much sense to me as the political & economic corruption that is driving the process right now. ND could continue as an independent, but they'd never play for another NC.

Pac16: + Texas, Tech, OU, Okie State. (16)

Big10: +ND, Missouri. (14)

SEC: +A&M, WV, Va Tech, FSU. (16)

ACC: +SU, UConn, Pitt, Rutgers. (14)

BMW: TCU, Iowa State, Baylor, Kansas, KState, Louisville, Cinci, USF, UCF, Houston, SMU, Memphis (12)

you forgot byu, ecu, boise and a lottery winner to the trashcan conference (the TCC).

otherwise, thats kind of my thoughts for the best plan.

i like 14 because you can play all 6 in your division and 2 crossovers instead of 1.

If TCU knew then what they know now do they not join the Big East? I agree it just seems wierd. One school I haven't heard any discussion about is Boise. You'd think the PAC and Big 10 will both be looking at them.
