We lost to at team that was most consistently the best team in the country and we lost due to the weakness we knew we had all season (small and undermanned frontcourt). I personally think it's better to lose when a team capitalizes on your weaknesses than when they beat you strength-for-strength.
I really wish G got to go out on a higher note, but I'm happy Cooney finished with the performance he deserved to finish on, great game and heart on display by him.
Nobody saw this run coming and the memories of the UVa comback, and this team's heart, will never fade. Performances like this, when the chips seem stacked against the team, are the reason I'm a fan.
Can't wait for next season! I hope Richardson and Lydon come back.
