since all the moves seem to be to generate more money. what move is the end point to making money? do schools ever get to the point where the money makes them stable long enough to not need to move? money always seemed to be an issue so how did we go from 40 years of stability to not even making it a year at a time now.

This is the shame of the whole thing -- I'm a person that actually enjoyed the idea of playing for a conference title. Even with crappy, no-name conference football brethren who had no program 10 years ago (USF), no D-I program 10 years or so ago (UConn), no success in 110 years (RU), or no particular connection to the northeast whatsoever (cincy, l'ville). But now this is just going to be a merry-go-round for the foreseeable future with nothing dictating conferences except the potential to make a few more dollars elsewhere. Unreal.
