When We Lose in NCAA's (Recently), It's Usually Offense...

So homerism. Ok, fine. But let's not pretend it's anything more than that.

I swear listening to some people we haven't lost a game straight up since Boeheim still wore plaid.
That's the truth, but what do you expect on an SU forum. I will concede that SU had some favorable calls in the Cal game, if you'll concede that the OSU game was the absolute outlier in a season where we averaged roughly 15 fouls a game.

Hell, there are games we won where barking hasn't happened.

It was pretty bad officiating. It was actually really bad officiating.

Ohio State was a good team that year. We got a lot of bad calls but we went cold offensively at the worst time in the last 10 minutes of the 2nd half.

We were lucky we had the depth that year to survive all of those fouls. I remember JB yelling at Jeff Hathaway from the NCAA selection committee during that game.

The calls were weak sauce but the NCAA didn't order that hut it was just an awful ref crew. Thank goodness TV Ted Valentine had our backs in this past game as Higgins was on that crew. TV Ted gave Syracuse several 50/50 calls in the 2nd half.

I will die someday believing we were hosed on purpose for that game. The announcer was like "I talked with some of the players and they were actually kind of nice guys" ...

"The announcer"? It was Bill friggen Raftery! He knew our guys and is a big fan of JB and the program. Come on.
