I'd like to see him go to the Sixers at 20 so he can play in his hometown and be on a competitive team.

I feel like teams will like him in the combine and he'll end up being taken in the 13-17 range.

I agree he has kind of flown under the radar not starting I think he will impress a lot of teams in the workouts

I don't think he's really flown under the radar. I think he's kinda overrated as a player if anything, but I think teams will love his physical attributes (NBA body, fast, quick, vertical, etc.)

he'll be a starting pg in the nba in a couple years. if he slips past 20 ill be surprised.

15-20. His only problem is that an NBA 2G has to be a 3pt shooter and his 3pt % in college is not great and the NBA line is deeper. He will have to show that ability in workouts for teams.

I'm skeptical of that, considering he's never been a distributor and didn't show any above-average passing or court vision during college.

But hopefully you're right; best of luck to him.

I hate to be the naysayer, but I don't think he makes it. If he is drafted I think he'll play his one contract and not get another. Hope I'm wrong, but there are a ton of guys that that can do what he has shown an ability to do so far.

Does anyone know how tall he really is? Maybe a poor-man's Gil Arenas (before he got hurt and pulled a gun on his teammate)

dont think he'll ever develop a good enough jumper to be a 2, his form just aint there, and hes too slow to release it. hes got a solid handle, strong and explosive, can get to the rim with ease. he'll be at his best with the ball in his hands. early in the year he was great at penetrating then dishing to fab or cj for dunks, he got away from that the 2nd half of the season, but he showed that part of his game is there somewhat.

His future's definitely at the point, for the reasons you noted. He'll get a chance, but he's got some improving to do.

Do they have an interview at the NBA combine, like they do at the NFL combine? If so, that'll dictate where he goes more than anything. Everyone knows exactly what he brings in terms of his game. No one knows what he brings in terms of attitude.

Considerably deeper line in the NBA...and Dion's jumper is far from textbook. He'll really need to improve that if he's ever going to be a consistent shooter.

25ish, depends on who else declares.

Really, really could have used 1 more year, but most kids who leave early do.

As far as the poster above that said he might not get that 2nd NBA contract, well, that wouldn't surprise me either.

The only thing he's really shown in 2 years in college is that he has the ability to get to the rim, but he's going to face equal athletes at the next level, he won't be able to simply blow by everyone. He really needs to improve his jumper to stick around.

Combine that with possible attitude problems, uncertainty of he can play M2M, and not really having a position, he slipped.

I think he needs one more year to work on his shooting and finishing at the rim, but his stock is high so he needs to go. Look at Sullinger he came back led his team to the final 4 and his stock dropped.

I agree with this to an extent, although I would have liked to see him forego hiring an agent and try to confirm that his stock is really as high as it is being reported at the moment. Around the NCAA tournament there are often guys coming from college whose stock is reported to be higher than it turns out to be ...... probably as a result of all of the positive press they get during the tournament which may have very little do with whether they have the ability to succeed at the next level. Waiters bench role this year may serve him very well in this regard this year. He may have gotten enough playing time to whet scouts appetite, but not enough to prove that he really can't do some of the things that they project him to be able to do.
