Where are all the he's not ready for the NBA people right now

From what I saw on Twitter, apparently he stripped King James a couple of times down the stretch, too. So basically, you're talking about one of the top, oh, 5 players in history, and he's in a clutch situation, and MCW, in his pro debut, picked his pocket multiple times to help seal the win.

Damn.

He definitely got him at least once. Miami's offense totally fell apart down the stretch, and MCW was pretty great. 4 threes even!

Sure glad he was auto drafted onto my fantasy team

At least 3 of his steals were off LeBron. One was critical in the last minute.

I think his defense was more impressive. The game was not on TV so i had to quickly order the NBA network. If wade would of played i think he would of completely shut down Wade even more then he did with the Two time champion, Two time Finals MVP, and Four time league MVP.

But do we all remember last year saying this about Dion, I just hope Michael can keep this up, We might now have 3 potential big time scorers coming from Syracuse.

Watched the entire game - he was great- I was expecting him to be horrible - I'm not sold on him yet and he was 1 for 12 in his last preseason game - he also hit four threes which defies logic - with that said after one game it looks like he can be an excellent rebounding guard (the board where he boxed soft azz Bosh out sealed the game), a real reach in thief on defense and an excellent passer - in the their set offense the 76'ers didnt run much pick and roll where his handle could get exposed - I cant see him getting 20 plus points too often but it does look like he can be a real jack of all trades

You're the kind of guy who, if you were a best man, would say in your speech that the marriage might have an outside chance of lasting a few months, aren't you.

The thing about MCW is he could go 1-12 and still dominate a game with his passing and defense. He will have some terrible shooting nights but I expect them to become fewer and fewer as he matures. But with his size and athleticism he should continue to fill up the rebounding, assists and steals columns regularly.

Mike is probably going to be a very good player, but you gotta figure this is gonna be the high point for both him and the team for this season. It's gonna be a long season for him playing with the "talent" that he has surrounding him.

Agree with Knicks411. I love MCW, he could be a cornerstone as the Sixers build. Bring back Nerlens Noel, a high pick in a loaded 2014 draft, discover a couple more contributors this year, and you have a team that might finally escape NBA purgatory. I like their new leadership team, particularly their emphasis on statistical analysis. But, both he and they will struggle this year. Just not enough there, and their record will reflect it.

Which is the team's goal, and which is why they'll suck this year. Could steal some games by playing hard, though. Hey, one game in, and MCW already has an NBA record. I'm a Sixers' fan, and I'm satisfied.

Two most impressive players of the night 1) MCW 2)DeMarcus Cousins

MCW is going to be legit. He's built for the NBA and could have had 20 assists if he played with a little better talent. Even in the NBA you don't see point guards who can see the floor and make the cross court passes to the corner for a 3-ball like he can.

I guess when you don't have scrubby 6'0 hackers (who should be playing rugby or something spazzy like that), clutching, grabbing, and bumping you all game, things are a little different.
I wish he could elbow another Louisville defender in the face.

I guess, I'm not trying to hate on the guy or anything. He was fantastic last night.
