Ishaq Williams DE: Kid has a ton of talent. Saw alot of fill in and specialty roles like 3rd down passing situations last year. His first two years tally in 24 games he played in (zero starts) is 28TT (15UA, 13AT) with just 2 for loss, ZERO, yes notta, SACKS, 1 FF (Navy Blow out), and 1 PD. In the post spring depth chart, this being his junior year at ND, he is listed as 2nd string in the CAT LB position and Kelly was quoted saying we'll find some special situations for him to play in. Sounds alot like last year to me. We will see him next year, which could remarkably be his first career start at ND in his Sr year (pending a change this year of course) when we meet ND in the Meadowlands. Where would he be in Orange right now, we'll never know, but fun to speculate. Right now he is nothing but a potential talent that has yet to be realized. Zach Allen QB: Made a last second decision and finds himself even further buried in the depth chart than he ever realized at 4th (last of all the TCU QBs) after spring ball. He might be lucky to ever start at TCU at all as he is up against a stand out SR who made a surprise turn around, a Sophmore who started most of the season last year, a RSFr that is one year ahead of him and with 2 new QBs in this years recruiting class already. Maybe he does ok, but where would he be at SU? Well we might have seen him and known already, but again, one can only speculate! And to think just a few short months ago we all had visions of him being a potential 4 yr starter. Kevin McReynolds DT: Really, a total bust so far at UCLA. So much so he is now being moved to an O-Lineman. DNP his first season, sparingly on Special Teams and moved to reserve OL. Maybe not alot to even speculate on this one. Jaron Jones DE: Much like Ishaq, he contimplated quiting the team his freshmen year, and like Ishaq again has renewed his devotion to the game. Post spring depth chart has him as a potential back up and role player this year. We'll have to wait a little bit longer and update this mid-season, and include those other 2 guys AE & EO as well...maybe just before Clemson comes to the Dome.
