I posted it to you in the Boeheim’s Army thread.about Adam W?
In the way they didsort of interesting to me that the Lally family bothered to respond.
Adam comes across as humble and classy here, while Lally seems pretty douchey.
I am not trying to be a jerk, but can you expound on this? What does this mean? Adam is 56 years old. What has forged this connection?I’m not sure where. Obvious politics there, but Adam did just post this in reply a little while ago.
Thank you Dasher for whatever you’re doing in the background. The best case scenario for Syracuse athletics is to have both the Lally’s continued support and Weistman’s support again. Weistman is an influencer with lots of connections that can be super important in supplemental support through NIL opportunities once the university starts paying athletes directly. We truly need everyone’s support. Weistman also has a huge connection with the Gen Z’ers who’ve graduated Syracuse in the last 5 to 6 years and can be a huge ambassador to keep that generation engaged and to be future donors.
Ego's, plain and simple. Comes with the billions. We're seeing real time what went wrong and it's just being rehashed now. Get them to Tully's and Mug of Labatts and some wings and get over it.Meh there is obviously more to this story. Only thing lally did wrong is reply on twitter, should have sent a DM to MW.
That’s actually a very “above the belt” type response from AW. AW is beginning to respond more and post a few things about his time doing his deal with SU (and mentioned how he didn’t do it in the best of ways - took ownership of that) I wonder if he is trying to open the door a little bit again? As a big time fan, I would love nothing more then for JL and AW to connect and unite in a positive way for SU athletics. One can dream!I’m not sure where. Obvious politics there, but Adam did just post this in reply a little while ago.

There are rules?how likely is it Weitsman comes around, plays by the rules, becomes legit donor?
He never broke any rules. When NIL became a thing, he wanted to make NIL deals and did. That one twitter post was completely inaccurate.how likely is it Weitsman comes around, plays by the rules, becomes legit donor?
eh I just mean displaying a tiny bit of self-awareness/deference to what the school is asking for in terms of process/channelsHe never broke any rules. When NIL became a thing, he wanted to make NIL deals and did. That one twitter post was completely inaccurate.

That's why he hired a lawyer and passed everything through Syracuse's compliance department.eh I just mean displaying a tiny bit of self-awareness/deference to what the school is asking for in terms of process/channels
um ok... not claiming to know any details or anything, just genuinely curious - so what's the issue at this point? Why won't he donate now? Why to Boeheim's army and not the men's basketball program? That's why he hired a lawyer and passed everything through Syracuse's compliance department.
That’s fair. Weistman social media presence was very engaging to students at the time they were at SU. The celebrities coming to the games will have many students who attended during that time remembering SU basketball fondly when quite frankly the program wasn’t performing up to our historical reputation. Jimmy Fallon leading the SU Marching Band. He also always had his inbox open to SU students aspiring to be entrepreneurs to just reach out and ask for advice. He knows how to connect with the Gen Z generation.I am not trying to be a jerk, but can you expound on this? What does this mean? Adam is 56 years old. What has forged this connection?
Kent is not involved with Boeheim’s armyum ok... not claiming to know any details or anything, just genuinely curious - so what's the issue at this point? Why won't he donate now? Why to Boeheim's army and not the men's basketball program?
Syracuse doesn't want him as a donor. Dasher is trying to open the lines of communication so that the parties involved can work it out. But as of right now, Syracuse doesn't want Adam Weitsman involved with Syracuse University Athletics.um ok... not claiming to know any details or anything, just genuinely curious - so what's the issue at this point?
