ESPN2 - Brian Griese and Chris Spielman , and other coachesprovide in depth analysis from a film room

ESPNU - Joe Tessitore hosts Tajh Boyd and Barret Jones as they serve as game analysts with a partisan slant

ESPNHD - ESPN personalities and celebrities watch the game in LA from a living room type atmosphere

ESPN - The game itself

Think I'll flip between the game and ESPN2

I've heard the ESPN2 coverage with the coaches was excellent last year.

Seems really weird to me. I mean, this must get them the best ratings, but still.

They're happy to have the game on 40 channels, with each one featuring a slightly different color scheme.

Loving espn2. Such a refreshing way to watch a game. With guys who actually know what they're talking about. Plus all of the replays. Great.

ESPN Classic has just stadium noise.
As did I until I realized my granddaughter unplugged my center speaker. I thought ESPN was doing something special until I flipped channels. Any explanation on running the clock after Clemson's first down?

All I know is that listening to Kirk Herbstreit's color commentary sucks on the main ESPN telecast.

Espn is trying too hard, just show the game, I kind of like the coaches in the film room, but the rest of it is just a waste of time.

The refs screwed up, the clock should have stopped.

Thanks. In hindsight if Clemson gets that extra time and gets a few more yards and makes a FG - could have made things even more interesting. I'm assuming that the play wasn't reviewable and they couldn't go back and put some extra seconds on the clock. Another reason I hate replay - slows the game down and not always used effectively. Let refs make mistakes just like players and coaches do. I think officiating has gotten worse with the instant replay as a ref can 'guess' knowing he's got backup.

I watched spidercam for awhile...some really good angles but sometimes it is off looking at whatever and you miss a play.
