Marquette is biggest game of the year. Have three more brutal games upcoming and will be underdogs in two and only a slight favorite against L'ville, if at all. We need to right the ship right now and play with fire. We need good guard play tomorrow. LGO.

This is a make or break game. Not so much in "oh the season is over if we lose", but in terms of NCAA seeding and potential confidence heading into March. If we lose tomorrow and follow it up with at least one more loss to L'ville or G'town, we're looking at a 4 or 5 seed, at best, barring a BET title run. We NEED to win tomorrow or else we likely fall behind MU, GT and L'ville (if we lose to them) for seeding...

No question, even setting aside the history, rivalry, score, etc., yesterday's loss was a huge blow. Given our upcoming schedule the most likely scenario is 2-3 more losses. Yesterday's loss probably cost us the Big East title and a spot in Philly first weekend. Still time to turn it around by running the table and getting some big road wins, but unfortunately that's not the most likely outcome.
