Problem I can imagine is financially packaging taking in account production and potential. Sadiq gets some benefit that Autry was not good as Head Coach, but he doesn’t get the benefit of being an unproven 2026 class member having been in college for a year now. Production wasn’t great to warrant probably what his camp wants, but I think we all know the potential is there. I get it from GMAC side there is only so much risk financially you want to take on an unproven player which Sadiq is at this point. You may want to reallocate those funds to raise your floor with a proven producer.

I think Freeman has the highest upside of anyone on last years team but I am okay with him leaving. I think if he plays with both a better coach and better players he will do very well. I like White as well but if he leaves I won't give it a second thought.

White also has a terrible hoops IQ and managed to get how many technicals last year? Two things that I’m sure gmac saw.

White was also our second leading 3% shooter, on low volume, slightly ahead of Kingz.

I’ll miss him and Freeman. But if anyone thought this was going to be anything but a complete rebuild, they’re probably quite surprised this week.

From a player perspective, this season must have been beyond disappointing. Best for them to just start over.

Too much rationalization on this forum. I can swallow it for most of the guys in the portal, but losing White would be a huge negative. Kid played well and didnt even tap into his upside. Totally mis-used and underutilized by Red.

It would be a MAJOR disappointment if he officially portals.

Yes, they changed over their entire roster too. Heck, the best player from the UM Howard era ended up at UConn as their best guy.
