He’s from Chatlotte and UNC may clean house. I would not be surprised if he’s playing at UNC or Duke replacing Brown in that role. I’m saddened that we lose our top 2 rated players coming out of HS (Freeman & White). We basically lose our starting 5 players and 7 of our first 8.

I think that we are overestimating the Sienna transfers potential impact next season. They may not have success against consistently better competition this upcoming year. We need an excellent point guard and a scoring center who can defend. A rebounding power forward. Unless Dotty becomes another Silent G at point guard we have a bit of a conundrum at shooting guard/ small forward re playing time.

We saw in the championship game bigger players and tougher Defence. The shooters were never open. That is the level we want to achieve.

There's some number of people that genuinely believe we're likely to be better off bringing in MAAC Siena players than retaining our own ACC top talent.

He's going to be a sophomore who needs to "develop" a bunch more. Don't think that model is up either of their alleys.

I hope he stays, but is what it is with transfers.

I think Freeman leaving is in the best interest of both parties. Injury history is just too extensive for a program like Syracuse to invest millions of dollars in. As far as I know Freeman is the only guy to receive any all ACC mentions.

Right on. One other challenge that the NIL era presents is
how the total roster payroll is allocated and properly scaled once you have identified the top $$ player(s). You can have a massive
gap between your $3m player(s) and the rest of the roster, but
that still requires a certain buy-in by them if you want a level of
team chemistry and togetherness that GMac needs to succeed.

Let’s be certain on one thing - he’s a 20 mpg, 25 at best right now as a starter pending making a big leap.

And Freeman took less to come back for a 2nd year with us than he would have gotten had he portaled.
