I'll say...

Boise
BYU
WSU
UCF
UVA (need a miracle)
WVU (rolling my eyes)
Climpson
Wiscy

WSU, Miami, Rest of ACC, UCF, James Madison lol.

A&M over South Carolina- Hoping for a mess in the SEC East.
Boise St over Ole Miss- Three of my neighbors are Ole Miss Alums, would love to see a week 1 loss.
Alabama over West Virginia - West Virginia.
Virginia over UCLA - That would be the best upset of the weekend.
Arkansas over Auburn - Rooting for Bret Bielema.
Clemson over Georgia - ACC
LSU over Wisconsin - Hope they destroy Wisconsin and embarrass the Big 10.
UCF over Penn State - No explanation needed.
Louisville over Miami - Need Louisville to win until we play them.

Screw UL, we came into the Atlantic last year and took 3rd behind Clemson and FSU. UL comes in and steals our thunder even though they couldn't even win the AAC last year with Strong and Bridgewater. Petrino is an asshat. If we beat ND, Clemson, and FSU then it doesn't matter what Loserville's record is. I hope they rot.

I agree with all of these. UVA will play UCLA tough for atleast a half. Too much talent on UVA and UCLA isn't the beast that Oregon is.

Miami will be good just by location.. why root for UL to stay good?

Louisville. We have enough of a mountain to climb in our division already. I'm wobbling on Wisconsin - agree with NashvilleOrange that it would be nice to see the Big 10 implode

I'm not rooting for Louisville all season long. I'm saying that I want them to beat Miami because that will most likely put them on the path to being 5 and 0 with a top 20 ranking when they visit the dome in October.

Rooting for all ACC teams and against all SEC teams. Intraconference, I'll root for South Carolina (I hate that SEC people call them USC) over Texas A&M. I have friends that are alums and it makes the conference look better if Clemson can beat them at the end of the year. I'll root for Louisville over Miami so it looks better for us when we beat them.

Georgia will roll Clemson, like FSU did and will continue to do...

Are you rooting for Georgia to roll Clemson or predicting it?
Wife is a Georgia alum, rooting for Georgia and calling it.
Who knows both teams will be starting new qbs, its a tough one to call.
Here is my logic, Georgia is at home with 100,000 cheering them on, Todd Gurley, and more talent.

Basically, i don't think clemson is great. In my prediction thread I had them at (8-4) with Syracuse.

Fair enough.

1. Root for Syracuse.
2. Root for ACC.
3. Root for OOC teams.
4. Root against the B1G.
5. Root against the SEC.
6. Root against horrible teams I like to see fail: WVU, Rutgers, UCONN

When two ACC teams play, tiebreaker goes to the team we play, 1st. ('Ville over Miami).

Maximize the weight of our wins, and conference. Hate on the conferences and teams worthy of hate.

I would have to agree with that, gurley is the best player on the field, but with newbie qbs, you never know which one will make more mistakes.

Here are the lines for every ACC team in Week 1:
Boston College -17 at Massachusetts
Clemson +7.5 at Georgia
Duke
off the board vs. Elon
Florida State -18 vs. Oklahoma State
Georgia Tech off the board vs. Wofford
Louisville -3.5 vs. Miami
North Carolina off the board vs. Liberty
NC State -21 vs. Georgia Southern
Pittsburgh off the board vs. Delaware
Syracuse off the board vs. Villanova
Virginia +21.5 vs. UCLA
Virginia Tech
off the board vs. William and Mary
Wake Forest -2.5 at Louisiana-Monroe

Dark days for Wake. Yikes.

Root against teams that will finish near us in the standings...ville, Pitt, nc state, duke in the name of getting a better bowl game come end of season.

Yes of course, but how do you really feel?

Exactly. Have to hope the ACC kills it in non-conference. A better ACC is a better Syracuse.
