Cal cal cal cal cal cal cal cal cal cal cal cal cal cal cal cal cal

Cal. Neither are too scary, but UNLV has more ways to beat us.

We will beat both but i think we handle Cal easily
cal has a lot of bigs who seem they can shoot from what I am watching. Very wiry and can stroke. But they're defense is a joke... No front court depth... UNLV has a bunch of studs but seem to take a lot of bad shots.. Cant decide yet

Both teams don't really play defense. But UNLV has more explosive athletes and a dominant post player in Bennet, I think Cal is a much better matchup for us.

I'm kind of leaning toward wanting to play unlv more at this point:

- crowd
- cal a better shooting team
- montgomery a much better coach than Rice
- cal looks to play a pretty decent zone

neither team is discuplined on offense/defense so i dont think it matters to be honest.. that said i think i prefer cal- dejean-jones or whatever his name is can get red hot it appears.

I would definitely prefer Cal. They can't shoot, and they don't have Anthony Bennett.

UNLV is the better team but I think we match up better with them than Cal. UNLV is a running team and has no half court game. In order to attack the zone you need to have a half court game. And it is not secret that teams don't want to get into a running the floor contest with us. Also Cal has been playing some zone. We have struggled against the zone all year and UNLV seems to have struggled with Cal's zone. UNLV is the better matchup for us but they are also a better team. So I guess it is pick your poison.

Cal. Both teams appear fairly easy to turn over which bodes well for us. I've also noticed that their game is being called relatively tight. Not much latitude give for contact. That is a double edge sword in that it allows for less pressure on our guards handling the ball but also poses problems for potential foul trouble. I'll take a 12 seed over a 5 for sure.

Cal plays some kind of unusual zone. 1-2-2? Have you seen MCW against zone? It' ain't pretty.

The way this game is going I sense some OT.

Had to say it.

MCW wishes he was Cal's Allen Crabbe.

Cal will have the home court on Saturday if they win - should be many more of their fans then being the weekend and folks from California buying Montana and UNLV tickets.

Crowd will be rooting against us regardless.

We want UNLV, cal will have a home crowd looking for blood, and if they lose to UNLV, the Cal people will probably root for Syracuse to beat UNLV. Although seeing how terrible the PAC 12 is in basketball makes me want to pick cal...

^This, plus UNLV seems to struggle against that zone
