2012 Nassib, Lemon, Sales, Provo

or

2017 Dungey Ish, Erv, Pierce

Pretty similar. 2012 Lemon was unstoppable. Dungey is more dynamic at QB, so I think it gives this years version an edge. Wish this group had the 2012 OL. That would be scary.

'17!

Only reason i ask is I got lost in a youtube hole earlier watching Nassib highlights from 2012. Alec Lemon was a problem. That Missouri and Louisville game was unbelievable.

So is Dungey a NFL prospect? The kid is a competitor, but I didn't think he is accurate enough. I am starting to think he will get drafted.

How about the USF game??!!

'17 but for me its close. If the philosophy in '12 was exactly Dino's is I think that offense would have been even better.

'17. The '12 skill players had the advantage of a much better o-line giving Nassib and the receivers time for plays to develop. I loved how that offense developed though. Truly multiple and creative.

I think the 2012 overall offense was better. Ryan was a much more polished QB. Dungey reminds me more of Donnie or underclass McNabb. Everything about his game is unconventional, highly functional, but he's not spinning the ball like the next guy will.

The 2012 offense once they got the run game untracked, starting with the UConn game, scored 4o, 37, 24, 45, 31, 38, 38. that offense was a machine, this offense is dynamic but not quite there. They finished 17th in the country in total yards that year.

I tend to agree. Mainly because of the dominant offensive line. I'd like to see this 2017 version with that experienced OL. If Pugh doesn't start the season injured I think they win Northwestern and possibly generate some offense @ Minnesota.
