He earned his master’s degree in physical education from SU in 1991 and added a bachelor’s degree in physical therapy from the SUNY Health Science Center in 1994. Pike is certified in full body active release technique (ART), sound assisted soft tissue mobilization (SASTM) and is a certified National Academy of Sports Medicine Performance Specialist (PES)and Corrective exercise Specialist (CES). He has special interests in exercise recovery and strength training. A certified member of the National Athletic Trainers’ Association (NATA), College Athletic Trainers Society, the Eastern Athletic Trainers Association and the New York State Athletic Trainers Association, Pike has presented at numerous symposiums and workshops.
