JB's comments about Woody after today's BC game are very interesting. Not sure I've ever heard his say of a freshman "I like everything he does".

One thing JB has always wanted from his bench players, is for them to make an impact on the game because their time is limited. Try to make plays. I think thats why he really likes Woody. He comes in, he shoots, he rebounds and he defends.

He's 'competent plus' in every area. He's going to do some nice stuff, and not do too many things to make you pull your hair out. I don't want to say he's been a surprise, but... he's been a surprise.

Agreed. And that’s difficult to do, especially for a freshman.

Reminds me of Josh Pace in that regard...not in their skill sets, but in their ability to come off the bench as young players, often in limited minutes, and positively contribute in a number of ways.

Woody passing Braswell on the depth chart as we speak?
braswell is the canary in the coal mine as far as syracuse's increased talent level goes

he'd be a rotation player at bc. hell, three years ago he'd be a rotation player at su

but in 2020-21, he's just a bundle of potential who can't break through the 4 guys ahead of him

I’d say he’s a bundle of nerves

Yup and it always starts with the defense to. Good there get court time.

Then also chip in offensively and get this type of JB praise. It always starts with the D though.
