I liked the all blues of the opener, but the white cleats kind of ruined the look. That said, I think this grey combo is going to look real good. Wouldn't be surprised if grey/orange was the plan all along.

Grey and orange would mean orange pants or jersey.

To be fair, the Oklahoma uniforms are AWFUL. There are few really bad jerseys out there, and those were just terrible. I love the SU unis, all colors, though there ought to be an orange one -- we can all agree on that. But, seriously. There's just too much going on with those.

Yea, they're awful. But at least they are still their school colors.

I appreciate and respect the traditionalist point of view - but this "look" is going project well. And I am anything but young. As long as we never return this:

Not gonna lie, my favorite new jerseys are the grey. Now, with the Orange helmet that's fire... I'd like to have alternate pants but I don't know if blue or orange would look better.

Well DG and crew wanted a look to get national attention...personally I think they look a lot better than the all-blue. Good thing the players and recruits love them as I bet the jerseys aren't exactly selling like hotcakes.

First blush I didn't think they were that bad as a uniform (not an SU uniform) but then I noticed that dark grey on the fronts and backs (or was that my eye). Ugly. People can keep saying the players and/or recruits like them but given the choices they've been shown, they have to like something.

When you have to resort to uniform nonsense to recruit you know you are in trouble. We have handed over our identity to Nike so we are no longer in charge. Shame on us. Some think that playing at MetLfe has never gotten us one recruit - I feel the same way about uniforms.

Can we jettison the gimmicks, put on the Orange and play some freakin football?

why dont the reporters ask the kids on the team what they think. just random things like the kids love them doesnt really mean anything. take a poll and ask them for what it is they like and then ask them how much they like the older styles.. just because they like the new stuff doesnt mean they dont like the old stuff better.

"'90s pickup truck graphics" Guess I'm not the only one picking up the 90s vibe. Say what you want about the all-blues, but at least the lines are much more subtle and almost hidden in those.
