in 09 it was Jonny
In 10 it was Wes
In 11 it nobody
In 12 it was dion (fab didn't have much of a choice)
this year it was MCW

Who will it be next year?

The candidates are (in my eyes anyway)
Mike G
Ennis
Grant
Rak
DC2
Roberson

I would guess the most likely in order are:
Coleman
Grant
Rak

Each of them would really really have to step up huge for this to happen. They are also 3 players fighting for 2 starting spots in the frontcourt.

I see DC staying at least 3 years...he has a lot of work to do in order to be attractive to the NBA.

IMO the only candidate to leave after this year is Grant. He could blow up this year; I just hope he gets over the mono. I'm concerned that hurt his efforts to put on some much needed muscle this offseason.

Silent G, Coleman and Grant.

We got something special from Dook.

How do you know? Have you seen him play college ball?

I've read up on Duke's recruitment of him, watched what footage there was of his brief playing time there...

He's a very athletic talented basketball player, very typical Duke player. However I think he is big enough and skilled enough to be a PERFECT ultra athletic guard at Syracuse.

He will be PERFECT in our zone D with his energy, athleticism and size...and he'll be what CJ Fair was for us the past 3 years, our most open opportunistic scorer.

That is what I think.

I'm huge on this kid, haven't been this excited for a player in a long time. That'll all change when CM, KJ and IW come to town.

Unbelievable to me that we have a player who has never played a minute in a Syracuse uniform that people are considering a candidate to leave early. And I'm not talking about Ennis. I agree with iommi that the wildcard to leave early would be Grant.

That was Wes a few years ago...

One thing is for sure. We've had some sick talent over the last 5-6 years. Only going to get better too, which is crazy. :)

If anyone leaves early this year it'll be Grant. That's not going to happen though, I'm betting.

So I'll agree with BlackNight, it's McCullough. Without much question, really.

The difference with Wes is Manley allowed access to practice, so word was out on how he was performing.

My big question with BenOJ is why the Duke divorce? I'm not saying he's not going to be great, but if he was such a great player and fit for their system, why didn't he play much and why did he transfer?

After '13-'14: Grant 35%
Ennis 25%
After '14-'15 McCollough 80%
Ennis 60%
Grant 60%
DC2 20%
After '15-'16 McC 99%
Ennis 85%
Roberson 40%
KJ2 30%
Bryant 25%

I believe one of the issues is he wanted to play the 2 and they wanted him to play the 3. There maybe more to the story than that though

People live to much in fantasy football world! There isn't one player on the roster that is a stud...yet! Lets not get to confident here, we are talking about 19-20 year olds who haven't proven they can score on a regular basis much less be a 1st rounder!

I don't think MCW was a stud and he went 11th. The draft is different these days it more about potential than skill. CJ was the biggest "stud" on the team last year but he was projected as high as MCW and is back for his senior year.
