We out rebound them.

They are within one TO of us.

They out assist us.

We only made one less trey than they did - sure didn't feel that way !!

didn't look to me like the huskies were going to the glass at all after misses but rather trying to beat us back downcourt.

again only 9 turnovers...simply amazing how well we take care of the ball

That's been an amazing stat all season. We've played 10 guys, including a bunch of underclassmen and have taken better care of the ball than in many seasons past. What do you attribute that to? We have several good ball-handlers in our guards, but they're a daring and unpredictable group as well. Is it more coaching or players?

And that's on a night that saw us called for at least two walks that were the result of the ballhandler getting shoved.

Yet another new way for this team to win. And by all accounts this was the most hostile possible environment to play in, which may have been somewhat bothering to our guys (although I can think of only two that might have been aided by the noise: KJo foot dribble, and the Dion cut without the ball). This team is just very hard to rattle.

Scoop is 5 assists to 2.2 turnovers per game. Last year he was 5.9 assists to 2.9 TO's per game in 7.5 more minutes last year
Triche is 2.7 assists to 1.4 TO's vs last year of 2.9 assists to 2.1 TO's in 6.5 more minutes last year
Dion is 2.6 assists to 1.3 TO's vs last year of 1.5 assists to .9 TO's in seven less minutes last year
MCW is 2.2 assists to .7 TO's

Scoop and BT has made great strides and possibly playing less minutes is the key stat.

Digger said at halftime that Connecticut needed to get the lead down to 9 and then the students would get into it and "Syracuse would crack." We didn't. We haven't all year. That's why we're 29-1.

It has been, but we didn't have a good second half in that department.
