Who's on your list

Ray Leonard has already been to the Dome. Not sure why they haven't had more of those type of events.
Would be nice.
Back then the Dome was new and a novelty.
What fight is going to put 20,000-plus in the Dome these days?
(Although, of course, TV/PPV money is what really matters).

The best thing about that fight...opponent Larry Bonds made $100,000.
The most he'd previously ever made for a fight was $1,500.

Shawn Michaels
The guy who beat the sht out of Michaels outside that club
the British Bulldog and 1-2-3 Kid for being too pilled out to offer any real help?

WWE and MMA are still filling arenas around the country. People talk about putting the basketball court at the 50, well put the squared circle at the 50 for a big Wrestlemania event. Or the Octogon. People would come from all over.

Any hot rapper right now. Would be great for the players and especially bring them when we have recruits in for a visit.

Some think it’s weird that he does this, I think it could be part of a master plan.

What other school are you meeting your favorite rapper, athlete, or celebrity on a recruiting visit. Or watching you play a game.

Yeah, maybe so.
I was talking boxing.
Sadly, there's no fight or fighter that could put more than a few thousand fans in Dome seats.

Interesting article that just popped up this morning. Boxing has died for many reasons and this article links it to what could happen in golf. I don't necessarily agree with that or the similarities but boxing was huge for many years. Going back to the 20's thru the 90's. Dempsey thru Tyson. You knew the Heavyweights. You knew the middleweights. People would argue who was the best. At one time you had Ali, Frazier, Foreman, Norton, Holmes, Spinks all in the same generation. Even the Olympic guys were big heroes. Now it's like Floyd Meriwether and I don't even know if he is still active. But we could definitely add Mike Tyson to the potential invitee list.

Orange Nation invited fans to submit suggestions yesterday. I submitted this list, noting that Weitzman brings in celebs in pairs sometimes and that he 's gotten current NBA players whose teams were hitting the east coast.

1) Carmelo and LeBron
2) Sir Charles and Shaq, (who studied broadcasting here)
3) The Manning family (Peyton, Eli, Cooper and maybe Archie and Arch, too?)
4) Jim Brown, who wasn't on our first NCAA basketball team because of a dispute with the coach over whether to play three black starters. He could also attend a lacrosse game with Oren Lyons and maybe Jimmy Ridlon, too.

The Hardy Boys
Nancy Drew
Jim Rockford
Sherlock Holmes
Thomas Magnum
Charlie Chan

Really anyone that can get to the bottom of the transfer and drop off in recruiting issues we’ve all been tossing around.

It definitely doesn't hurt. I feel it would better to spend these dollars on paying recruits to come play in the games though. I mean NIL. But I actually mean paying recruits to come here.

Post Malone was born in Syracuse!

And we could claim the song "White Iverson" is about JG3

Post would be huge!
Let’s bring him in when Judah Mintz comes in for a visit. Call Weitsman and let him know.

I feel like lexington steel is among are most under appreciated alumni. Lets bring the big man back and give him the props he deserves.
Dude comes equipped with his own prop rod.

You’d have to imagine he has a plan for Duke.
