And they can do it. - Thomas Castellanos has become everything Garret Shrader used to be. He’s leading the country in rushing yards for a quarterback with 673 yards at 5.4 a crack with 9 running TDs. He’s also passed for 1,549 yards and 11 TDs. Shrader his 316/3.6/6 with 1,508 passing yards and 9 scores. While LeQuint Allen has averaged 4.6 yards per carry and his back-up Juwan Price 3.2. BC’s Kye Robichaux has averaged 5.0 and two other backs have averaged 5.2 and 4.7. And they love getting around the edges of defenses. The 3-3-5 is a road with a big shoulder. - The Carrier Dome holds no horrors for the Eagles, who won here 33-29 in 1993, 24-23 in 1999, 16-7 in 2010, 42-14 in 2017, 58-27 in 2019 and 16-13 in 2020. - With all the injuries we’ve had, we are a shadow of the team that started the season, just like we have been for years, regardless of who the coach was. Comments: BC scores more than we do because they rush for more yards than we do and get more first downs. They convert more third and fourth downs and do better in the red zone. They give up very few sacks, probably because they have a better offensive line and also because they have become primarily a running team. They’ve also had fewer TFLs, probably for the same reasons. They have given up fewer defensive yards because they hold onto the ball and because our pass defensive has become pretty bad. They’ve got amazing punt coverage and a small edge in place-kicking.
