Our shipping interests will improve ten fold with this new port betwixt the continents. Telegraph our contacts in Canada, tell them we seek the Northwest Passage no more!

A panacea for Vandelay Industries (as you know, a front for Syracuse's off-shore interests) to be sure.

still on our side of the international date line, so of course it's a home game.

When was the last time SU went out west two years in a row?

Well, we played in San Diego on the aircraft carrier last year, so… last year and this year?

I love that! You should give that idea to Manny's for t-shirts and demand a cut of their profits. It could have a picture of Otto wearing some type of Sultan hat.

With a picture of an all orange US for the background.

We did play at Arkansas last year and at NC State the year before.

I believe that is what he meant. He is asking besides these last two years.

Gotcha - then off the top of my head I would say in the 1995-96 season we played in the Rainbow Classic in Honolulu and then the following year we played in the Great Alaska Shootout. Ironically, we got completely annihilated in the championship game of both of those tourneys (UMass and Kentucky).

I can't claim that. Someone else came up with it a while ago. Might have been Nunes Magician.

Yeah, that's my point, kinda. Other than this season and last, I can't say I remember.

To be fair, the question should have been about "away games" as opposed to "games away from home", which would include neutral site games/tournaments. If it does not affect the team's seeding at tourney time (due to a lower RPI) and does not affect their preparation to play in front of a hostile conference crowd, I do not care. It brings more money into the Athletic Department.

not only that, but the key is painted orange! thats a huge advantage for us! its like we're playing at the dome!

Made the same comment watching Monday night.

Sadly, Kentucky was our opener in Alaska. I recall having a rough time finding coverage of our losers' bracket games - Maine and someone?

On a related note, the Rainbow Classic was a great tournament; too bad it faded away.
