Why doesnt the Big 12 go after Boise St??

I know they are in the middle of nowhere, but they are the 4th best team in the country. With all that is happening to the Big 12 wouldnt it be hilarious if after joining the big 12 Boise St wins the national championship? Big 12 gets the last laugh!

Because the Connecticut School of Broadcasting has tougher academic standards than Boise State.

That's not a bad idea. At least BSU has a bit of public cachet. But it might be a tough sell
