Why haven’t we recruited a big like Rick Jackson in years?

Jackson was a top 100 kid who could score with his back to the basket.
We can find Rick Jackson type college players.
We are Syracuse.
We had Rak Christmas who was a higher ranked recruit but finding Rick Jackson’s shouldn’t be this hard.
If you can get post scoring. It makes your offense a lot easier.
Instead we rinse repeat wash on offense.

Need to put Diagne into perspective.

1) he did not meet NCAA qualifications
2) He went to a JUCO where he declared for the NBA draft after an unspectular season.
3) He lost eligibility when he was not drafted.

It does not seemed like he was the brightest bulb in the bushel.
