My guess is it's being run by everyone - Cantor, Gross, Moore, and they may have had some input and wanted a few changes made. It'll definitely be written, by the way, because while this is a statement "from Boeheim" it's really a University statement, make no mistake about it. What is said in the statement will absolutely have to be approved by those mentioned. I would actually be stunned if it wasn't actually written by Moore or someone else within the sports info department with little input from JB himself.

I'd bet that there isn't any statement from JB coming out today. Earlier today it was stated: "Syracuse spokesman Pete Moore told ESPN.com on Sunday morning that coach Jim Boeheim, "is not commenting further on the subject at this time."
I doubt that has changed regardless of any tweets from Pete Thamel or Brent Axe. I could be wrong but is seems unlikely at this time especially since 5 PM has come and gone.

They are probably very realistically considering whether JB needs to be suspended etc.. I know people are saying that he is not covering up, but perception is out there that anyone associated to this could be covering up..

Guessing they will certainly ask Bernie to resign...

...Bernie should not have right to resign...he should be fired...long past the date this should have happened. My belief is that there is a lot of negotiation and debate about who if anyone else gets suspended, fired, etc. The fact that JB did not make announcement is not really good in my book
