The Big East is good through the 2013 season with its BCS auto bid. But it will get reviewed for the 2014 season and on. Can you imagine the political backlash that would come from telling a conference with the service academies in it that they were no longer a BCS conference (assuming they maintain most of what's left).

Actually...those are all three great road trips too. They are making Lemonade outta of Lemons...good for them but all the remaining teams will still all have one foot out the door looking for an ACC/SEC/Big 10 or Big 12 invite.

It allows the BE to get to 12 football teams, while keeping the basketball side at a manageable 16.

Add one CUSA team to get to 8/16 ...

then Army, Navy, and Air Force as football onlies.

Nova gets 1 more opportunity to upgrade ... or Temple comes back as a football only.

Me thinks this is the ONLY expansion plan the basketball schools would approve.

Did I miss something, are Navy, Army and Air Force in a BCS conference now?
