Why North Carolina State will win
- Because they are North Carolina State, a team that’s tortured us over the years.
- Because it would be just like this Syracuse team to hang in there with a highly ranked team in the Dome and then go south and “go south”. Heck, we already did that.
- Because we can’t do it on the road: 0-4 (100-175). In fact we have yet to give up less than 40 points.
- Because Jacoby Brissett is a mobile quarterback built like Ben Rothlisberger who can scramble and then complete passes with guys draped all over him.
- Because they are 74th in the country in gaining yards (391.8) and 47th in scoring (32.8) while we are 119th (330.6) and 73rd, (27.8), respectively.
- Because they are 16th in the country in fewest yards surrendered per game (314.5) and 29th in scoring (21.1). we are #104 (451.2) and 92nd (31.3), respectively. They are simply the better team.
