Why Syracuse will win
- Because we are wounded but healing. The talents of the “next man up” guys are emerging as they get more experience.
- Because this team has pride and they are not going to go 1-10.
- If Sean Tucker can play, we’ve got a running that will take some pressure off Culpepper and the passing game.
- Culpepper is starting to get on the same page as his receivers and we will see more of those long passes to Johnson and, hopefully Taj Harris.
- Sterlin Gilbert will finally realize what weapons our tight ends are.
- The defense we saw for three quarters against UNC, four against Pitt and the last three quarters against Clemson is our defense and Wake Forest.
- At some point we’ve got to start getting some people back.
- We are at home. What does that mean in this year of Covid? Wake hasn’t bene outside their state yet. They must have had to be quarantined in some fashion. An upset in their routine could help us.
- Maybe the glare from the lights will help us, too.
