- Because once a year we play a perfect game and really lay one on somebody. And we hope that wasn’t Connecticut.
- Because our problems, save for Northwestern, have occurred on the road. We have taken care of business at home.
- Shafer‘s defense can’t possibly be that bad three weeks in a row.
- Just take care of the ball and take advantage of our opportunities. We do that and we win.
- All those soldiers will fill the stands and all those fans will fill the Dome with noise and the team will be inspired to their biggest effort of the season. The 12th man will win this one.
